Licensing requirements for doctors of chiropractic are determined by individual states and Canadian provinces. All have statutes and regulations which determine the scope of clinical procedures chiropractors may legally perform. In other countries, laws regulating chiropractic vary.
Most states accept or require the recommended passing score on the NBCE Part IV Board Exam in lieu of other practical licensure examinations.
State licensing authorities may have additional requirements for licensure. Most states require you to take an exam which demonstrates your knowledge of chiropractic state laws.
You are responsible for contacting the licensing board or authority of the state, province or country in which you plan to practice.
