Northwestern confers degrees to 33 students in December commencement

Students received degrees in massage therapy, human biology, acupuncture and Oriental medicine.

Northwestern Health Sciences University held a commencement ceremony on December 13, 2014, for students in the College of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine, the College of Undergraduate Health Sciences and the School of Massage Therapy, presenting degrees or certificates to 33 students.

The student greetings were delivered by Belinda Thor, School of Massage Therapy graduating class, and Adam Thompson, College of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine graduating class. Jennifer Blair, MOm, LAc, a Chinese medicine practitioner at the Penny George Institute for Health and Healing at Abbott Northwestern Hospital, gave the commencement address. A reception for graduates and their families followed the ceremony.
